Illusionist Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Illusionist

How was it done?
We are asking ourselves that.
And you can see for yourselves,
We all have become stunned.

It was clear to us,
An eviction notice appeared.
As if he had been for everyone here,
An illusionist with tricks.
One day within vision...
The next to disappear.

And one by one,
It is heard...
The economy has 'someone' known,
Up in the wind...
And gone on the run!
Effectively done.
