Why don't people realize,
what they're doing,
when they ignore someone.

Don't they realize,
how much it hurts
when they see you and just keep going
When they don't text or call back
When they just close the door in your face!

I hate that he affects me like this,
That I get butterflies in my stomach because he laughed or smiled my way…
That I feel so unimportant when he doesn't notice me in the halls

Why do I not deserve his attention
