If Only I Could Poem by lady grace

If Only I Could

Rating: 4.8

if i could only paint the stars
i'll paint them like a necklace...

if i could only paint the seeds
i'll paint them like an old oak tree..

if only i could paint bubbles
i'll paint them like thousands of pearls...

If only for so many pearls and stars in the sky transports me to the finer things in creation I love the relationship between natures free gifts and items that require a lot of money. The stars, the seeds and the bubbles being worth so much more, Good on you Lady Grace

If only, if only... You can accomplish much with a well-managed pen. This is a lovely, wistful piece, simple and deep at the same time.

If only I could could go on and on and on without stopping because there are somany things that can be 'if only I could...' If only I could write, I'd write a poem about...if only I could. I only I could paint, I would paint a portrait of the heavens and the stars above...if only I could. This is a wonderful piece Lady Grace, and it warms the heart just to read it, because it makes us think of what we can do, if only we could. A 10+++++. Love & hugs, Barbara

Carnival of words, well chosen...every time I read your piece it looks like fireworks in the sky spreading like diamonds within my vision. It tickles my heart and cools down my blood pressure and sugar level.Your piece therefore is like a medication or a cure for an aching soul. Thanks Lady.
