If I Were Inside Of You Poem by Randy McClave

If I Were Inside Of You

If my soul were inside of you
Maybe for a week or two,
And if I was not ever found
My world would still go around.
The joy that I would feel
Knowing that our love was real,
Would give me happiness and might
In my every thought, and sight.
My pain would all be gone
As we both would then be one,
And we both would be together
As a now, and then a forever.
The love that we would know
The emotions that would grow,
Would be inside of you and me
Though our eternity.
The love that we would create
Would end all confusions and debate,
If only to know just when
You were to allow me in.

If my soul were inside of you
Maybe for a week or two,
And if I were not ever found
My world would still go around.
