~ If ~ Poem by Thad Wilk

~ If ~

Rating: 2.7

If ~ The stars above one night, e'er
Forgot to shine.
I shalt always have thine (loving glow) ,
To gaze upon divine.

If ~ The magnolia trees fragrant blossoms
For me no longer bloom. The essence of
Your sweet love. Still'd be there
To fill my room.

If ~ The bluebirds and robins were no more
To sing with glee.
The whispers of, your love alone -
Will insure this harmony.

If ~ These joys should e'er leave from me,
Now that fill the air. The presents of
' Your love alone ''. 'Twould mask these
Things - not there......

Kipling would be proud of this as would dear Shakespeare. You express love so clearly within the rhyme scheme, it flows like loves river....Wonderful work. Smiling at you, Tai
