I Wonder How Much Time I Have Left

Rating: 5.0

I wonder how much time I have left
If I knew I might try to deal with the disorder
Created by years of writing and forgetting and going on
I wonder if it is a reasonable time
Far enough from now for me not to be afraid of it
But close enough not to be outside the statistical average
I don't know I can't know
It could be anytime now
I have enough wrong with me
For it to be suddenly over soon
But I will try to believe
I have at least five more years
Enough time to put things in order
To write the masterpiece
I have not been able to write
In more than fifty years of writing
The one I will almost certainly be unable to write
More years to fool myself and go on
Until I cannot go on
Which will hopefully be
On the day I die.

Writing more than 50 years is not a small thing It reflects hard works. Enough time can put things in order. This poem is very interestingly penned.
