I Was Wrong Poem by Silence Dogood

I Was Wrong

Everytime we touch.
It sends shivers down my spine.
And I'll admit I get lost.
When I look into your eyes.

But I have a wall around me.
An army for my heart
I know I'll regret this soon.
But I'm breaking it apart.

The weight is crushing me.
Those three simple words.
I want to say I love you.
But afraid it wont be heard.

Because in my heart I know.
That love is my demise.
The reason for the tears.
That stain my brown eyes.

I dont know much of anything.
But one thing is for sure.
Your heart is already taken.
Because you love her.
***
I dreamnt that you would love me.
And tell me that you'd care.
I thought you were the one.
With your messy brown hair.
