I Thank You Lord Every Second Of The Day Poem by Hebert Logerie

I Thank You Lord Every Second Of The Day

I thank you, Heavenly Father,
For having created me, as I am.
I also thank the Poet Bernard Dadi,
For his words that have strengthened and energized
My courage and soul, in this universe of pests.
Black is the most beautiful of all colors,
White, with ease, can be soiled or stained.
Black is the color of the beautiful summer nights.

The solar wind has spat on the white snow.
He had exposed the deadly sins and the sad abuses.
The invaders have gang-raped Anacaona, while searching for
Precious gold, diamond and other exotic rocks.
Look, the predators are on their backs on the sand.
They're all dead. They left the stolen jewelries and antiques.
They are now in the books that nobody will ever read;
They are part of the inspirational poems that the proletariat admires.
I thank you Lord, for showing me the road to peace,
And for confirming that I am the child of Uranus and Gaia.

I 'm not afraid to tell the Truth, on the cross,
Where I am. I do not fear losing my faith, body and skin,
‘Cause God told me that no missiles can penetrate my soul.
I expose the crimes of the infidels and the lies of the grand wizard.
I'm not afraid, I am fearless. I am clean like a black night.
I disregard the dangers; I ignore the depth of the well.
Black is the envious color of the starless summer nights,
And white, with ease, is soiled, stained and sluffed off.
