I Still See Her In My Dreams Poem by Sandile mngadi.

I Still See Her In My Dreams

I still see her in my Dreams

I still hear her voice in my sleep
Speaking to me saying I should never forget her
I still feel her touch in my dreams
Spreading her feelings all over my body
I still see her picture
Especially when I was remembering what she was to me
I still smell her colon
Smelling in my room
I find myself speaking in my dream…
“I love you so what must I do? ”
End up smiling when I see her lips move
I could read from far that she was saying …. “I love you more”
I still feel the grass
Where I and she rolled of joy to the bottom of the ground
That’s where we met initially
I still remember spending hours cleaning her jersey
It was full of grass “smiling”
That’s when I was able to view to her how I feel.
I still remember her words when I asked for her heart
“How can I give you my heart? ”
“How will I survive? ”
“Is it not that you want us to spend our life together? ”
“Then why do you want me to die? ”
“If I give you my heart my body will be LIFELESS”
“Why not ask me to be with you in your heart and I be with you in mine? ”
Feeling embarrassed that I never said it the way she puts it
I said “Can you be my heart, I be your heart and find meaning of living”…. She smiled
I still see her in my dreams although it’s been 5 years since she passed
I do feel each time I wake that she was with me
I do feel she was in my presence at night
I do feel she is my Angel in Earth
Looking after me
I feel she is keeping her promise of waiting for me in the Gates of Heaven
She wish me and her can walk together in the Gates of Heaven
Holding hands like we did in Earth
I still see her in my Dreams
