Xanophobia

Rating: 4.5

Durban and surrounding areas
Please stop this Xenophobia attack
Stop killing our brothers just because they are of another Nation
Please stop taking your Government frustration on our African brothers
Stop killing them just because your Government is failing to address all your issues
Please remember where we coming from.
Stop killing our Zimbabwe brother
Stop Killing our Zambia brother
Stop killing and taking from our Somalia brothers
Leave them to stay with us
Remember where we come from
Remember they gave us shelter when we were fighting apartheid
Remember they gave our Heroes food a place to train
Remember they help us negotiate peace
Remember they showed us humanity is the key
Please stop this inhuman behavior
Stop burning our African brothers
Stop killing innocent woman and kids
Where must they go because Africa belongs to all?
Where must they go because no one own land?
Where must they go because in their homes they are wars?
Why don't we try to bring peace in their country first?
Why don't we fight Boho Haram with them?
Why dont we fight M23 with them?
Why dont we fight terrorism with them so that Africa can be a better home for all blacks?
Why dont we show them that our land Africa is mother to all?
I ask you my South African brothers stop this barbaric act.
Lets stop killing
lets stop Xenophobia
Lets hold each other and work toward peace in our mother land.

Powerful piece of poetry depicting the ills of xenophobia with an urgent call to embrace Universal Brotherhood. A lovely poem, well articulated and written with insight. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

A wonder plea for humanity, Sandile. I pray for the day when all men realize they are brothers. Peace
