I See Vision Poem by Sandile mngadi.

I See Vision

I see vision of a new Africa
Where the Muslim and Christians hold hands and say we see Africa as one
I see visions of the Dictators giving power to people
Where no blood will be shared no tears will fall
I see the dead rise from the grave and forgive those that killed them
Where no soul will go sad but happy they are in a better place

I see DRC children’s playing in the street with no fear M23 is coming
I see them playing soccer and scoring goals that take their country to the World Cup 2018
I see fathers and mothers teaching their kids Rumba
Dancing to the beat that plays sweet melody

I see Libya forgiving Gaddaff for all the pain he coursed his people
Having hearts to allow his grandkids to giving last respect to him
I see them stopping the war and starting to build their homes
Having the love they once shared together
I see visions of togetherness

I see visions of Mugabe sharing his visions with the Whiteman
They agreeing to support his vision and uplift their sentence to that country
I see him resting as an African Leader to his vision completed
The people of his country applauding him a hero in my ways

I see the child of Africa going to school
Instead of being convicted to a killer or a wife to armed man
I see a child of Africa growing to a better tomorrow
Instead of being gang raped and killed like a child in Deipslot South Africa

I see Africa as ONE
In ONE Voice
Singing songs of peace
Songs of joy
Songs of Togetherness

I see the vision of one Currency in Africa
Where we can share the same Visions as Poets of Africa
I see the vision of no Boarders
Where I can walk to Nigeria and I am made food, made feel like a lost child has comeback

I see Africa in 1 colour
I see Africa in 1 skin
I see Africa in 1 religion
Religion of togetherness

Where we will all hold fist just like Mandela coming out of prison
After spending 27 years trying to free South Africa
Let’s free Africa from War/ Rape/Abuse
Let’s see a walk free area
Where Guns are converted to Cars for our kids
Where bullets are converted to wheel caps
Where bombs are converted to fireworks to celebrate the spirit of ONEAFRICA
Instead of a killing tool
Where military cars are converted to cars to show the beautiful Animals we have in Africa
Where military aircraft are converted to Commercial aircraft to transport Africans to parts of Africa
Where warships are converted to cruise ships to view the seas and Oceans of Africa

I see vision of a new Africa
