I See You Reading This Poem by Rik Bertrand

I See You Reading This

Rating: 5.0

Are you reading this little poem of mine?
Do you think that it will rhyme?
Are you sitting there all alone tonight?
Are you ready for a fright?

I’m watching you, as you read this,
and I am sort of in a bliss.
its one of my brainy quirks,
and I am not sure how it works.

But I see you as you read my poems,
I see into all your homes.
I see smile and I see frown,
I see your little brother there acting like a clown.

the power is stronger, and I can see more,
I can see way beyond the corner door,
But don’t you fright don’t be scared,
I’m not a psycho-killer looking for bear.

I am just checking on you checking on me,
Wondering and hoping you can set me free.
By the way you’re beautiful in all you do,
if what I see is really you.

The things what’re possible by the touch of finger,
It makes you wonder where I can linger.
look around I may be there, or there.
Hell, I could be anywhere.

But the truth be known, I’m right here,
Watching you reading me.

Take care, and beware, I will always be there.
