I See The Sun Poem by Gert Strydom

I notice the sun, the sky and a whole continent in your eyes
but I cannot really capture you in my inadequacy

and the human being that you really are, your laughter, happiness and pain
how I do really feel wants to disappear from my words,

your beauty that draws eyes when you do walk past
do not want to skip and walk along in my words

but you do make me the man that I am destined to be
great meaning to my life

and humbly I write my verses to you.
