I Saw It That Way Poem by Vera Sidhwa

I Saw It That Way

I saw it a trillion way,
And then I saw it one way.
The path to the true light
Was co-mingled with God's right.

I knew from the beginning,
That as a child I could tell,
Whether I could or couldn't,
Oh well.

I grew-up thinking all kinds of things.
I thought of teddy bears and scientific things.
I knew I had a fancy,
For words so true.
It colored all things beautiful blue.

My story I know has a special twist.
It's essence emerges out of the mist.
My story is about the courage I have,
To say things as they are.
