I Saw A Poem On My Way Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

I Saw A Poem On My Way

Rating: 5.0

I saw a poem on my way
On the writers' valley side
Found it broken, stranded, limp
Taking time to go upside

I altered a few pairs of words
To make them feel reconciled
I watched the poem climb the hill
In rhyming, rhythmic style

On arriving home by night
On my writing table side,
I found the poem greet me
With a thankful enchanting smile!

The writer's effort at modification is metaphorically presented and it has a real novelty. Enjoyed seeing the poem effortlessly climbing up....!

A seed needs seasoning for a healthy growth before it is sown. Thanks for your nice words on my poem Valsa..

Beautiful poetic expression that conveys the point well. Yes, a poem should be a poem, not a heavy and unwieldy prose that cannot climb up. Great style dear poet.

Right words there, Shree Pathak. Certain words indeed hang heavy. Thanks a lot for your insightful comment. Liked

The mind wanders to create visuals to its taste. We call it imagination. Thanks a lot Indira, for your nice feedback
