I Remember Poem by Alexis Weiermann

I remember everyday
Every word
Every fight
Every hug
Every kiss
Every tear
Every word of encourgement.

I remember everything.

I remember what it felt like,
To be in your arms,
And know that you loved me.

I remember you wiping away my tears
Whenever I was having a bad day.

I remember crying,
When I found out you cheated.

I remember the phone call,
Like it was yesterday.
You were lyeing to yourself,
Which made you lie to me.

You didn't like knowing you hurt me,
But now you love it.
You love remembering the pain you left me,
The tears I cried over you,
The blood I bled because of you,
Everything you did to me you loved.

Maybe at the time,
You didn't like it,
But now that you think about it,
You absoutly love it.

Of course,
You'll never admit it.

You say you hate knowing,
That I hurt myself because of you.

Self-ignorance is a wonderful thing.
You don't know yourself,
But that is the point of it.
If you don't know yourself,
How can you know anybody else?

You say you don't remember,
The call I made to you,
To say we were through,
To let you know the pain you caused.

Of course,
I still miss you.
But so do you.
Even if you don't admit it,
I know it.

You fall asleep thinking of me.
You think to yourself everynight
'What have I become?
I just hurt every girl.
But I have hurt the one girl,
The one that meant the most.
Now, she is gone.
I don't think she thinks of me.
I wish she did.'

I do think of you still.
Only, it hurts me everytime.
The cuts burn,
The tears fall,
And my heart breaks,
Everytime I think of you.

I still remember,
All the good times,
All the bad,
All the wonderful,
All the painful,
And all the tear stains I have on my clothes.

Just remember,
I'll always remember.
