Although I sound happy to be here,
I'm not.

Although I said I loved you a year ago,
I don't anymore.

Although I give hugs,
I hate them.

Although I show my face,
I want to hide.

Although I talk,
I want silence.

Although I smile whenever you look at me,
It's just an act.

Although I seem open,
I've told you nothing about me.

Although I don't lie,
I don't tell the whole truth.

Although I've taken the wrong path,
I'm still going after my dream.

Although I am very isolated,
I know more than you think.

Although I am still young,
I have a voice that will be heard.

Although I am suicidal,
I love life.
