I Read This Book Poem by Michael Moorcroft

I Read This Book

Rating: 5.0

I read this book,
It made me look,
At things I never saw.

A treasure from a car boot sale,
Digested wholly in silence,
On cultures lost on history’s trail,
On cities built on violence.

I read this book,
It made me look,
At things I never saw.

My father used to say... You are never alone with a good book, I have been reading ever since. Beats Facebook as well, you get more sense.
