Me Poem by Michael Moorcroft

Me

Rating: 5.0

I like to be different,
I like to be odd,
I say what is meant,
And I can be a sod.

Though I do admit,
I’ll put on a show,
Like one you’ve not seen,
And I’ll get an after glow.

I’m here for support,
A good listener too,
Though far from short,
I’ll come down to you.

A tad judgemental,
I’ll forgive not forget,
A bit temperamental,
I won’t smoke cigarettes.

I’ll fight the good cause,
I’ll never give up,
Interested in laws,
Not the World Cup.

A bit materialistic,
And too much pride,
An answer for everything,
Though I can take a snide.

I guess that means you do not follow the flock, a sheepdog that can lead, unique in his own style. I guess you will go far in life. A well penned poem. 10
