I’m Sorry Poem by Michael Moorcroft

I’m Sorry

Rating: 5.0

Dedicated to Beth

I’m sorry I abandoned you,
In your hour of need,
I should have been like glue,
And helped you sow the seed.

I’m sorry I ignored you,
And to you I turned my back,
Stayed away like you had flu,
And put you away like a mac.

I can only make this pledge,
I’ll guide you through the darkness,
I won’t push you off the ledge,
I’ll be your beacon, showing you kindness.

I’m sorry I gave up on you.

This makes me sad because I wish someone would write me something like this... I have been hurt too much, by people who have no business hurting anyone.
