I don't blame you for leaving me here alone;
I sit in utter silence waiting for the phone.
I just want to hear your voice, I want you to be here;
hold me in your arms again and tell me not to fear.
I want you in my life today and forever more;
please turn back around, don't go out the door.
I prayed because without you I don't know what to do;
the angels must have listened because they brought me back to you.
