I'M Sorry Dad Poem by laiba shams

I'M Sorry Dad

Please take a minute, to listen to what I construct,
For I try to explain my expressions, in this single product.
While you were gone, I took time to express,
The things on my mind, get some things off my chest.
I'm not perfect, and never shall I say the accusation,
So without further delay, here is my evaluation.
You are a role model, someone I admire,
And it hurts me when I refuse, sets my soul on fire.
I know you asked, for me to assist,
And when I said no, I tried to resist.
It eats me alive, when I know I let you down,
So this is the reason, that I am making this sound.
Round and round, my conscience keeps the warning,
That I should write this, so I wrote this this morning.
Your my dad, and nobody can replace you,
So what should I try, to make it up too?

Im sorry for what I've done, and what I'll do,
So you name it, and Ill make it up to you.
If there is anything, whether calm or mad,
I'll help you with it, for I'm sorry Dad.

Honestly I try, to do the best I can,
Because I know you work hard, you are one man.
One man, but one that is extremely strong,
And I hope to follow your lead, by conducting the song.
In a different aspect, I see you as a provider,
Which means I can help there to, so thats my reminder.
Everything you do, is everything I respect,
Whether it'd be sparring to farming, it's for all aspects.
Now all I want, is just the plain truth,
Because you are super human, can't chip a tooth.
This verse will close, so I end with this final statement,
Dad I apologize for everything, your a 5 star if I'm ratin' it.

Im sorry for what I've done, and what I'll do,
So you name it, and Ill make it up to you.
If there is anything, whether calm or mad,
I'll help you with it, for I'm sorry Dad.
