I Loved At First Sight Poem by Randy McClave

Do I believe in love at first sight
I once did with all of my might
I loved as I had never loved before
And all that I wanted, was more.
I loved the feeling that I did feel
I smiled because the awareness was real
And I was there on top of cloud nine
I felt drunk as though drinking the finest wine.
I was in love and what else more can I say
God had answered the prayer that I did pray
I was so happy that I was finally in love
I fell in love with an angel from heaven above.
Love I then knew that it would last forever
No one else could I ever love, never
She was my passion and my only devotion
She controlled my every emotion.
I could never love no one else but her
This was fate and our meeting was destined to occur
I believed in love at first sight I had caught
But, love at first sight, she believed in it not.
