I Love You, Always Remember That Poem by Emmanuel Arunee Mwanza

I Love You, Always Remember That

The day you entered into my life...
Like a pill
You made me drink you,
Imagine then I was in pain
But you together with your water-like voice encouraged me
do you know I was like a lava of a butterfly
When i thought about myself?
And when you showed up
You made me feel like a butterfly itself
At least the butterfly that I once was

I am not saying a lot
I am saying the many things you have exposed me to
You have gone through my skin, my veins, my bones like a nuclear substance
Literally through my all,
So small you started, but you penetrated through anyways

You have a heart
A big heart i know it
It beats, a bit,
...beat, beat and then pounds
Whenever you are around
Obviously you have bonded to me
We needed not a positive and negative electrons
We only needed what other people call chemistry

I know I am getting you confused
I am getting you into a territory that even you, don't understand
I am glad it's not an enemy territory
Just a place where everything happens so fast
Where your past ceases
My past diminishes
Everything goes like it never existed
And that it's like only you and I ever existed in time
To write various chapters of this book of love we call life
I love you,
Always remember that
