I Still Love You Poem by Emmanuel Arunee Mwanza

I Still Love You

So...
After all I still love you
After everything I have gone through
I still love you
I still sense your scent
I still see you in my dreams
In my thoughts you are always there
I don't see a couple without thinking of us as a couple
I might have let you go once
But a million times I still want you
Because I still love you
My heart still longs for you
My mouth still quakes, in dire need to
Call your name
My hand like a robot out of control each time grabs a phone
My fingers pointed to your number
I want to call you
My whole body agrees with me
So I will call you, from the inside
From my heart I will call you
May your heart respond
Because, after all the heart breaks
After all the pains i have been through
After everything I have gone through
Because, of you
My heart still longs for you
My whole body agrees too
I can't walk around without my legs trying to get me to you
So...
After everything...
I still love you
