I Love Friends Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I love my friends
Wish I could stay up to an end
Who knows what and when will they be of any use?
But certainly friendship can endure and never confuse

It has delicate angle
From all the ways, it looks triangle
Whether in happiness or in troubles
It enriches bond with struggle

What a way to feel when one runs in rough weather!
Another friend rushes on the spot for help to render
Such is the closeness and feeling for each other
As if meant for each other, to live together and offer

I offer no rose flowers
But understand them as goof follower
Never offer bitter words so as to offend
But stay fully aligned with readiness to defend

I blink in spare time
All old friends come before screen sometimes
What were they in those childhood days?
Completely innocent with nice behavior always

I emotionally move in that memory stream
They come one by one like sun beam
Enlighten me with their warmth and memory
I cry sometimes with emotions and feel sorry

Many are gone and some are at far distance
I rarely find any occasion to visit by chance
But I love them at heart and miss no moment
To remember them and pass the comment
