I Liked It That Way Poem by Vera Sidhwa

I Liked It That Way

I Liked it That Way

When you smiled your radiance upon me
I liked it that way.
And your slight speed when walking
I liked it that way.

Your sweet smile upon me
I liked it that way.
Your unrelenting kindness
I liked it that way.

But one day you became sad
I didn't like it that way.
You needed kindness and sympathy
I didn't liked it that way.

But with your returning exuberance
I liked that way.
You rose above all trouble
I liked it that way.
