I Like To Simplifly My Life Poem by Suki Nakamura

I Like To Simplifly My Life

i like to simplify my life and so i start
building this wooden boat inside my mind

my eyebrow is a paddle
and my mind is the river
my eyeball a moon
my gazes are stars

i dream that i am sailing
on and on
i keep on sleeping, i keep the eddies
of the water, some thoughts,
i move setting aside air
i gasp for breath just to fill an emptiness
i have been looking for you
all these years

like a gold fish dead in the river of my memories.
