I Have Tried Too Long
I have tried too long
And failed too much
Sometimes I tell myself
I no longer care
But Apathy is Death
I know that well
So I strive now
To write these small lines
As each day I strive
To stay alive in hope
Nothing may be known
And nothing remain
Yet I alone
Am still playing the game
