I Hate You Poem by Lizzy Hartwig

I Hate You

Rating: 5.0

When people thought you were unimportant.
You were my all.
When no one wanted you.
I did.

Now that you're on top
You forgot.
The things I did for you.

I would of jumped in front of a bullet for you.
But now it feels like you're the one shooting the gun

The love
Turned to hate
The selfless
Turned to selfish.

I cannot blame you though
It was the world that ruined the most important person in my life.

But it doesn't matter now.
Because I hate you.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I had this friend who was my everything.
He was a new student and unpopular.
But now he is popular and doesn't even acknowledge my existence.
