I Feel It Divine Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

I feel it divine

it was split second move
to prove
that I was alive to the situation
the decision has to be taken

the fish were about to die
as pond had turned dry
no water was left
they were to be shifted

i was raised in Jain family
and if i was to do it immediately
there was to come some reaction
for my this action

"what are you doing" some passers by questioned
you will be beaten if doing fishing here
still we performed noble act
so many were saved in fact as we put them in fresh water

this was complained to father
he thrashed me heavily in anger
i explained him later
"no my dear son "even if you did good"

I was no sad at all
as father had explained well
but that memory is not rubbed of easily
even todayI feel about it divinely
