I Envy The Real Poets Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Envy The Real Poets

Rating: 5.0

I envy the real poets
The ones with great names
The ones anthologies are made of
I envy the real poets
Whose writing truly moves and inspires
Whose voice is a new dimension-

I envy the real poets
For most of my life
I have been trying to be one-

Read please these simple plain words
And let yourself perhaps feel
That I am more real
Than I believe myself to be.

Reality is just extension of imagination and it is only limited by our acceptance of our veiwed perception. Cheers to the excellent poem, by a wonderful poet.
