I Do Not Know Who Is Colonial, Who Post-Colonial? Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

I Do Not Know Who Is Colonial, Who Post-Colonial?

Who colonial, who post-colonial,
All after themselves,
All lost in intra-feuds, class war,
Nasty politics, caste war,
Hypocrisy, self-pride and ego,
Materialistic pleasures
And opportunism and sycophancy
Throwing out development, welfare,
Eradication of poverty,
Illiteracy and backwardness,
Ignorance and superstition
Unmindful of gender equality, human rights,
Economic disparity, patriarchal hegemony,
Fanatical landfall?

I know i know. The difference is almost the same. Almost because i can understand one brother fight another. We was fighting when we was kids. Even twins kick each other in their mothers womb. When God created us he distributed us in specific places. Africa for Africans, India for Indians. Now if a Scotsman visits hes welcome but if comes to oppress that war.
