I Could Not Write Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Could Not Write

Rating: 5.0

I could not write
Almost a whole day had gone by
Then suddenly the words came
And I write now
Only to write
Once again
My own insignificance in writing
And prove
I need writing more
Then the world of writing needs me
And my writing has as much meaning for me
As a game I play against myself
In which victory is in just the playing.

If you could not write today, it does not matter. You can write it tomorrow. This poem is very brilliantly and amazingly penned.
