I Choose To Bleed For You
it is shattered, you said
smashed into little bits,
by another.
and so it is.
my heart,
that which i placed
beside yours
feels your brokeness
plunged so deep
i can barely breathe.
why, you ask. why?
i cannot reply.
Love, i'm guessing,
never loves for a reason.
and so tonight,
left with no choice,
i choose to bleed for you
hoping that
maybe
just maybe
someday
my wound will heal your pain.
