I Cannot Go Back



I cannot go back
I cannot bring it back
Whatever I do
They are gone
We are gone
Our life as it was then
Is no longer here
And will never be here again
I am old now
I miss them all
As we were
When I was young
I cannot bring them back
And soon like them
I will be gone also
And it will all be gone
Even my memory of them.
