I Am Strong Poem by Silence Dogood

This is my first attempt to write free verse so it will not be very good.

I dont need a shoulder to cry on.
I dont need strong arms to hold me up.
I wont fall or shed a tear I am strong.
I may be broken inside and faking my smile.

But I can act like nothings wrong.
Im not okey but I have to be I dont want your pity.
I dont need a gentle hand to wipe my tears away.
I dont need a boy to mend my broken heart.

I just need someone who will always stay.
Im tired of broken promises and heartfelt apoligies.
I dont want anymore goodbyes I dont want you to leave.
No more fake smiles and pretending to care.

My heart always skips a beat when you walk by.
But now everytime tears form in my eyes.
I try to laugh but choke on your words.
Im caught in a web of rumors and lies.

Trying to break free but ending up more broken then ever.
Ive lost everything that gave me something to live for.
My hopes have become false and my life a crumpled chaos.
I dont need a shoulder to cry on.

I dont need strong arms to hold me up.
I wont fall or shed a tear, I am strong.
But sometimes even the strongest break down and cry.
And sometimes theres nothing you can do when your broken.
