I Am Silenced Poem by Megan Colligan

I Am Silenced

I wonder if you'd let me
glimpse into you,
of vanity and of clothes
lost and found in watery depths,
reflect back to me what is also in myself:
to look beyond the visage of my captor,
and be humbled beyond mortality
I am silenced...
