How We Did Nothing And Let Evil Prevail

Good women and men have done nothing
And thus evil might prevail.
African Americans have taken the brunt
Of this virus and have died.

Dying in significant numbers, higher
Than their counterparts and of the human
Beings in jail and prisons we've heard
Nothing at all.
We can not go into the good night without
A fight.
And fight a moral fight we are the captain's
Of our souls.
