Horse (1) Poem by Abdul Wahab

Horse (1)

Rating: 5.0

Oh horse comes to me
As the dreams come
Like weeds in the crop of life
And be my wild imagination
To play together in awake or sleep

When I ride on you
No whisper of a lover
Or the rain of a cloud
Gives me so much thrills
Better than your hooves.

When the pipers of the earth
Steal the sweet music
From your iron- shod feet
I am in my dream of dreams
Less reasonable and less decent,
While three feet above from the ground
Wiser and more intelligent
Than the rest of the men.

You are only my friend
With out any envy
So much strength and power
With out any pride
There is no secret between
You and me
When on you I ride.

I soar and you fly
With all the beauty and grace
All my unattained wishes
Get all the wondrous wings

You lead me to the excursion
The answers of all the troubled questions
You are a magical freedom
And an escape
From the mundane human prison.
