Hope,2018
Hope is what keeps me going
The anxious pain that accompanies it
gives me only more reason to feel
to love and believe
to release my birds into the tough world.
Hope is the dull knot of worry
its what I feel when i fear
failure, disappointment.
venturing out to a new world
of learning, guiding and struggling
Or perhaps you can
let go of it all
in an abyss
overcome
defeated.
That's despair
death.
Hope is what keeps me going The anxious pain that accompanies it gives me only more reason to feel to love and believe........the very first stanza attracted me very much dear poetess. it is full of positive energy........ thank u for this hope poem. tony
