Honeyed Lips Poem by Fiona Davidson

Honeyed Lips

Light falls
Across her sweet face
Smiling with pleasure at her thoughts
Complete love
Stirs inside her heart so sweetly
Bringing desire in its wake
Quietly
Her soul
Begins to stir, stretching out
For his arms to embrace tightly
Passion breaks
So slowly over her body
Like the waves upon the shore
Ebbing
Washing
Her senses with love
Emotions flow swift through her veins
Traces left
Of the honeyed lips upon hers
Half remembered touch of him
So strong

This is a very beautiful and most impressive triple Cameo poem, Fi, and your lovely words are deeply touching in this wonderful poem. Carl.

A great comparison made here....and a lovely triple Cameo...written with a softness that is felt through the reading. Sue x
