Home Of The Heart Poem by P.J. Lowry

Home Of The Heart

Our home is wherever the heart lies,
not just a place of brick and mortar.
For it's a feeling, not a dwelling in size,
but the love and warmth we all order.

Home is not where our memories rest,
it's wherever we find comfort and peace.
Sharing time with those we cherish best,
in arms that make all our worries cease.

Your home isn't a place where you are,
it's where you find people we hold dear.
It matters not if the place is near or far,
just the moments we share every year.

It doesn't matter where roads may go,
for deep in thy heart, I'll always know.
