Holy Thursday Poem by Patricia Gale

Holy Thursday

Rating: 4.9

Candles flicker silently as the choir sang
Incense floating through the senses
The word read to fill the soul
One by one carrying the oils

A moment to reflect
A time to remember
One heart combined with the Three
Peace entering……… an oneness with him

Those have traveled many miles and many trials
Washed for the remembrance one of the last acts
For this he done for us
And this we do for Him

Each being taking their turn
To remind us
Humbling us to one another
As He did long ago..............What greater a gift

Teacher and Lord you are called
For this you done for us
For this we do for you
Blessed be this day
