Inner Whispers (May 25,2008 (d day this page was born) / Philippines)
! ! ! His Honest Lies
You love what you become
when you're with me...
'You make me alive! '
you added in glee
And in between our sweet kisses
you softly whispered,
'You're an amazing girl,
I love you so much,
be mine, now and ever! '
we let our souls unite
We slid and slide
slurp and glide...
In every lovemaking we do
we perfectly know
after our moans of bliss
we will hunger for more!
Poet's Notes about The Poem
In one of our discussions recently my attention
was transfixed by this statement from one of
our speakers when she talked of relationships.
She said, 'The objective of sex is for greater
And it got me thinking of us and i share with
you my inner whispers.
As far as i'm concerned our relationship is one,
great loving in all its aspects save for some
We have gone through quite a lot and i believe
ours is amazing. emtionally, spiritually,
physically. and what great compatibility there
Especially the sexual part.
The sex is great. I have never loved this way
before. Just merely remembering how it is with
you is enough to excite me no end. But the
question is does it lead us to greater love?
Lately, we have been talking of the difficulties of
missing us. We have squarely faced the issue
And we were one in saying that the sex is not
the whole point. it is just one, important aspect
of our loving.
and we have also dwelled on the thought that i
might just be having mid life crisis Or that we
are just going through a phase or a passing
Hindi natin hawak ang panahon, you said. who
knows we might end up hating each other you
However, honey ko, If ever we fall apart and go
our separate ways let me tell you it would not
be because we don't love, nor that we don't
enjoy each other.
But because we are in a situation that we can't
grow in our love.
We can't get to the next level of coming
together and living out our love to its fullest.
By the next level i mean Marrying each other,
living together, having kids of our own who are
the fruit of our sexual union in Love. Raising
them. Being father and mother. And being
everything parenting Do. And grow old together.
But haven't we been through all these? Be it
that it is with our respective spouses, though?
And haven't we been burned with the ties we
are now bound to? And we have begun to beg
the question, are we fulfilled or have we chained
ourselves to an unsatisfying prison?
Disillusioned by the love we entered and sought
to build with the ones whom we initially chose
to bind ourselves to.
And so now, what shall we do? We know the
option to come together and be husband and
wife is not possible. For now, at least.
So then, is our union bringing us to love greater
as it ought to? And yet, here we are still
yearning. Hungering. We can't wait to be
together. mind you i envision how we have sex
now and words can't fully express the total joy i
get loving you. I look forward to our delicious
unions. I did, i do. I always will.
But not only for the sex and the lust. you see,
Whenever we are together we are so happy and
so fulfilled in reckless abandon. But when we're
apart, we get sad, incomplete, disheartened. And
yet the hunger is triggered all the more because
of the absence. The missing aches all the more
that only getting together can somehow abate.
And especially now, time is a luxury we so
desperately need to be able to seek each
other's arms. And when we do find some of that
tine we hurry. And i know this is all about my
Or shall we just throw our hands up in the air
and give up and surrender? And stop this
Ah, this last choice is far from my heart. The
head says it is a logical choice to end the
But my heart says otherwise. It seeks its
fulfillment. It knows where its happiness lies.
And so it will pulse towards you. And look for
fulfillment in you.
And so if you ask me I shall Carry on with this
dichotomy of emotions. And to suffer through it
all yet strive to seek our fulfillment in each
other. And to bask in the sheer warmth of being
Ah, i long for you. I desire you so strongly, Honey
So, has it led to greater love? Tell me, for as far
as i know i am striving for it though i know i
am loving you now greater now than ever
Only the ultimate expression of marrying you
What say you, my Honey, my love of my life?
Ruminations of an old, greasy unremarkable
man to his sweet, young and
his honest lies)
