High Hopes!
darling i got high hopes
high hopes
meant to be lived for
a thousand years.
oh darling i got high hopes
all along the scattered streets of life.
oh darling i got high hopes
that keeps spinning and spinning.
oh darling i got high hopes
hopes to light up a thousand fires,
drown every depth of sorrow.
oh darling
high hopes!
high hopes!
which takes me to familiar faces,
as they fade into new ones.
