Hidden Life Poem by Robert Matkovic

Hidden Life

Rating: 5.0

The blood can seep from the parched skin
A solid kiss goodbye
A heart unveiled to me is but a lie

Voice givin' words can sprout their meaning
A flower for the future
The twinkle in my eye, refuses my sight
Then I see no flower

A bird will sing, to those with ears
My ears are theirs, yet I hear no song

Like a shriviled stone upon the moon
The stars, the sea, apart of doom
Hidden signs beyond the walls
above the skies, beside the falls
Behind shrouded clouds, they hide their cause
