Hey Poem by Fie KroC

Hey

Hey, I’m just a lonely soul waiting for someone to rescue me
I’ve fallen down in this hole, please someone help me up
I hear them at night whisper to me, ’help is on the way’
But I see no one, I see no one, only the sky above me

Won’t you be my hero, just for tonight?
If not, I’ll still have you in my mind
I’ll cut you open and read you like a book

I'll put you in my heart-shaped box
And death climbs up the steps one by one
I can't get there on my own
So walk me to the graveyard
And I’ll dig up your bones.

Cause you’re the tear that hangs inside my soul for ever
But maybe I’m just too young to keep good love from going wrong
But under everything there’s just another human being
And my pain is self-chosen

The river of deceit pulls down, down oh down
The rains in heaven must all come down
And tonight it’ll come down on me

So die die die my darling
Just shut your pretty eyes
I'll be seeing you again
I'll be seeing you in hell

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Wuh, another kinda dark poem... I got inspiration from my head and from some lovely musicians (again!) The Misfits, Mad Season, Nirvana and Jeff Buckley.
