Hate To Feel Poem by Fie KroC

Hate To Feel

You feel dizzy, feel your bones through your fragile skin
Your heart beats slowly like an ancient clockwork.
You feel your veins, poke them with your needles, and enjoy the pain

The beat drops and… you feel even dizzier, delirious… free.
You drag yourself down the stairs and glance through the window,
making a gesture for the moon, your old white friend.
You also nod to Mr. Brown who’s standing in the corner, dusty, as the only mortal remains of you.

You walk outside to lay down in the grass, and you feel the angel dust surround you
Space is flowing through you, star dust seems everywhere
And in that moment… you are infinite
