Her Visor Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Her Visor

Her visor

She stands arms crossed
-at red light
-her cellphone pink-bright
-it is held next to cup
-and it rains…

Drizzles by drops…
-she holds no umbrella…
-wears a cap,
-is black…
-from mist eyes are barred
-and they are oriental

Thoughts fly
-past stops at red lights
-and torsos to the legs
-to the shoes
-to the feet
-simply beauty
-they vary
-some limp and
-some sweep
-some are thin to the bone
-some columns of fat, meat

Changes light
-she is gone
-fast she runs
-in garbage drops cup
-all in rush

With light change and moving
-she is now out of sight
-totally

It is said:
-"Out of sight out of mind! "
-it is right
-not always
-some remain in our thoughts…
